This mod, in its current state, simply has no "End game" unless you are willing to become exceedingly aggressive and keep your foot on the gas the whole time, steamrolling nations before they can develop. You spend hours, or perhaps days and weeks building your vast empire, and if you played your cards right, you had your enemy generally out-gunned or otherwise beaten. Take Civilization, the game series, for example. This has an unfortunate effect of removing what most people would consider the "End game" of a play-through. My only guess as to why this massive, unchecked build up occurs is because nations suddenly gain focuses that greatly reduce division build times, or drastically cut production costs enabling fledgling nations to, over decades, build into super powers. This effectively makes wars of aggression almost impossible and certainly impractical as the years go on a major nation might have the same army strength, or worse, less of an army strength as a far "weaker" and smaller nation. I've noticed that somewhere in the 10 to 15 year mark every nation has more or less completed their entire national focus trees and switches to air, navy, or army Continuous Focuses which then generate HUGE armies for every single country in the game. Within Millennium Dawn: Modern Day, is there a setting to disable the Continuous Focuses option for AI and/or players? I'm not sure if there is an area for discussing mods for HOI4, and if there is I apologize for posting this here instead of there.
